Jaggubhai And ‘Virudhagiri’ Inspired From ‘Taken’

It looks like a never-ending process of our actors and filmmakers replicating Hollywood movies. Recently, a particular film has haunted our actors urging them to make similar piece of works.

This is all about Hollywood movie ‘Taken’ that centers on a former spy relying on his adeptness of saving his kidnapped daughter. The film was directed by Pierre Morel with Liam Neeson donning the lead role.

Similarly, K.S. Ravikumar’s ‘Jaggubhai’ seems to be made on this line about a father rescuing his daughter. Well, the promo pictures of father being protective over his girl child have been so revealing.

Recently, Vijayakanth started shooting for his ‘Virudhagiri’ that is completely based on this concept. Over here, Captain takes on the role of a senior officer set in mission of saving his daughter.

Apart from these mainstream actors, a newly launched film ‘Indrasena’ is too made on similar motif…

Sun Pictures Drops Siddhu Plus 2 First Attempt ?

Have a best ability to shoot a pakka commercial flick? Cheer out! You’ve Sun Pictures picking the right sort of flicks with good values… The production house has turned to be the best hub of marketing the films and fetching good collections in box office.

Followed by the success of ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ and ‘Kanden Kadhalai’, these producers have already started promoting Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’ with its teasers telecasted for every 7th minute.

Now, we hear that creative team of Sun Pictures had recently watched the ‘Double Positive’ print of ‘Siddhu +2, First Attempt’. The film is produced by KBR Medias Pvt. Ltd in collaboration with Moser Baer Entertainment. According to the closer sources, the officials seem to have insisted to make some modifications, which were completely refused by K. Bhagyaraj. With no options left, Sun Pictures have dropped their idea about picking this film.

‘Siddu Plus 2 First Attemptt’ features Bhagyaraj’s son Shanthanu in lead role and Dharan has scored music.

The title song of "Theeratha Villaiyatu Pillai" has been shot in Mumbai and choreographed by the famous Bosco-Ceasar. They have together choreographed some of the super hit dance numbers in the Hindi Film Industry, having worked with actors like Abhishek Bachan in "Bluffmaster", Salman Khan in "Partner" and many more. Till date they have choreographed around 300 songs. Incidentally, "Theeratha Villaiyatu Pillai" will be their first ever Tamil movie.

The duo have choreographed the title song of this film for which the entire cast and crew had flown to Mumbai. This song will 100% become a huge hit as it has awesome foot-tapping music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The speciality of the song is not few but many. The highlight is that not only have they used laser beems, Vishal and the three girls have been given a whole new look. Each girl has been given a completely different style depending on their character. The make-up artists and the costume designer have worked alot individually on each of the actresses and Vishal especially.

The highlight of the song is that there is a shot where we can see Neetu Chandra in tub full of red hot chilles, which left her skin burning for quite a long time.

Each of their performance has been mindblowing and the chemistry between Vishal and each of the three girls: Neetu Chandra, Sarah Jane and Tanushree Dutta, is excellent.

This song will positively be THE song to look out for. Our audience and Vishal's fans will be thrilled to see their hero in a completely different avatar.
