Richa Gangopadhyay is feeling overwhelmed with the response to Mayakkam Enna. The actress says that she has got a lot of positive feedback from fans and she could not have asked for a better launch in Tamil. She was full of praise for Selvaraghavan and Dhanush for their work in the film.


Now Richa is eagerly awaiting the release of Osthi. She says that this film will also do wonders for her career as it is entirely in the commercial format. She said that she enjoyed shaking a leg with and romancing STR onscreen. The two roles are diametrically different, Richa said and will prove that she is versatile.

Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal Romantic Entertainer film - Shooting Finished

the shooting of 'Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal', a romantic entertainer starring Atharva and Amala Paul, has come to an end. Director-producer Elred Kumar is happy with the way the film has taken shape.


"We shot some important scenes in Las Vegas, a city which is known for its night life. We picturised the 'Oru Murai...' song at the world's largest gift shop. The scenes canned in the United States will be a visual delight to the audience," says the director.


"The chemistry between Atharva and Amala Paul is the lifeline of the movie," he says and adds: "Since it is an emotional love story, the lead pair has to be comfortable. And yes, Atharva and Amala are very easy with each other and share a great on screen chemistry."


Besides shooting in the US, Kumar also made sure that a single track from the movie was released there. "The response was so good. Many American citizens eagerly enquired about the song. GV Prakash Kumar felt very happy when I conveyed this to him."

Kasthuri (actress) - Tamil Gallery

Kasthuri is an Indian film actress, model and TV show anchor. She was a leading South Indian actress in the 1990s.


She won the Miss Madras title in 1992. Subsequently, she got offers to act in films. She debuted as heroine in the Tamil film Aatha Un Koyiley in 1991, and had appear in a number of Tamil fims thereafter, including the horror flick Rasathi Varum Naal, Government Mappilai,Chinnavarand Senthamizh Paatu alongside Prabhu Ganesan in 1992.

She acted in many Telugu films which gained her enough fan following in Andhra Pradesh. After the success of Bharatheeyudu, the dubbed version of the Tamil film Indian, in which she acted as beloved daughter of Kamal Haasan, she got several opportunities to act opposite top heroes. Films like Soggadi Pellam, Merupu did not give any footage to her career.

Kasturi was the subject of a 30-minute documentary film Kasthuri: A South Indian Film star made by Richard Breyer and N. C. Rajamani in 1995.

Kasthuri bowed out of films after her Hindi short film The Bypass in 2003. In 2007, there were rumours that she was planning a comeback. But these rumours proved false.

Kasthuri made a come back in 2010 featuring in a item number in the hit film "Tamil Padam"
